About This Project

A full-stack property rental and booking marketplace where tenants discover approved listings, save favourites, request bookings, and pay reservation fees via Stripe. Owners manage properties and booking requests; admins moderate listings, users, and transactions. Built with a Next.js client and a separate Express/MongoDB API.

Challenges

Coordinating three distinct role workflows—tenant booking and payments, owner listing and request decisions, and admin moderation—while keeping session auth and protected routes consistent across the App Router.

Next steps: richer messaging between tenants and owners, map-based search, and automated booking reminders.
