About me

Writer turned developer

MA in English, self-taught full-stack, five platforms shipped — and I still write like it matters.

I'm Khalid Hasan Meskat — a full-stack developer from Bangladesh building products with Next.js, React, Node.js, Express, and MongoDB.

The unusual line on my CV: an MA in English (2025) before a line of production code. It shows up daily — I read closely, structure before I build, and write the kind of READMEs and comments I'd want to inherit.

Through Programming Hero (Batch 13) and the Product Building Bootcamp, that discipline turned into shipping: five full-stack platforms — a rental marketplace, a job portal, a pet-adoption site, a travel app, and an eCommerce store — with Better Auth sessions, JWT access control, Google OAuth, and Stripe payments. Every repo is public; every app is live on Vercel.

What's next: a junior full-stack role where I can pull weight early — remote or on-site, async-friendly.

The path

From essays to engineering

Three steps — no shortcuts, and nothing hidden in fine print.

01

MA in English — 2025

National University, Bangladesh. Trained to read closely, argue in structure, and write so nothing is ambiguous.

02

Programming Hero — Batch 13

Six months of full-time training, then the Product Building Bootcamp — from HTML fundamentals to complete MERN builds.

03

Five platforms shipped

Rental marketplace, job portal, pet adoption, travel app, eCommerce — all live on Vercel, all code public on GitHub.

How I work

Habits that show up in the code

The soft skills from my résumé, made concrete — these shape every commit and pull request.

Problem solving

Features get broken into small, testable steps. When something breaks, I reproduce it first — then fix the cause, not the symptom.

Documentation

READMEs, setup notes, and test cases ship with the code. My English training treats docs as part of the product, not an afterthought.

Team communication

Blockers get raised early, updates stay short, and the writing works for engineers and non-engineers alike.

Feedback handling

Review comments are free lessons. I'd rather hear it in a review than discover it in production.

Deadline ownership

I scope honestly, flag trade-offs the moment they appear, and never let a date slip quietly.

Self learning

Docs, source code, and small experiments — every project ends with me knowing more than when I started it.
